Drivers on Interstate 95 have reported being cut-off and hassled by motorcycles, ATVs, and dirt bikes.

WTNH-TV has reported that drivers along I-95 and in the town of West Haven have been harassed by a band of individuals riding quads, dirt bikes, and motorcycles this past weekend. Passengers told News 8 that they had been surrounded, dirt bikes were cutting them off, and some were blocked from intersections in New Haven and other area roadways. This video is an example of what's going on in New Haven:

Many police departments in Connecticut have a ban on chasing after dirt bikes and it appears that the idiots harassing drivers might be aware of it. According to an article on reason.com, riding dirt bikes on city streets, which is also called Urban Riding, is also an inner city trend found in D.C., Baltimore, and New York City.

Some riders claim that riding is part of their culture. My take is that most riders who scare the living daylights out of innocent drivers are looking for that adrenaline rush or maybe they're just morons thrilled that they're terrifying other individuals which gives them a sense of self importance and control.
