The Wild West is So Different From Danbury and These Pictures Will Prove It
Every three years, my wife Mindy and I get invited for a seven-day stay at a private ranch in big sky country in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains.
OK, it's not really a ranch; it's more like a rustic resort named Camp Comfort owned by good friends of ours where 30 friends and family members come together for a week of games, day trips, boozing, serious eating, and just hangin' out.
Camp Comfort's motto says it all, "Leave your cares behind for all ye who enter here." This trip was our sixth journey to Wyoming since 2002 and the only negative is jetting out and sitting in the Basic Economy section packed in like sardines wearing masks and no legroom in seats made for 140 pound humans.
Enough with my complaining! Take a deep breath and enjoy my photo gallery of big sky country in the foothills of Wyoming.
