Tastes of Danbury Closes Out 2025 with Flavor and Fun

CityCenter Danbury is wrapping up its Tastes of Danbury season with one last delicious run — and it’s happening right now through November 30, 2025. For just $30, you can snag a pass that gets you meals from four awesome local spots, each one bringing something totally different (and ridiculously good) to the table.

Here’s who’s in on it this month:

• Empire of the Incas – 241 Main Street
• Los Rivera Cafe – 1 Ives Street
• Mothership Bakery & Café – 331 Main Street
• Muncheez (Food Truck) – 330 Main Street

Let me tell you about these places because I've eaten at all of them more times than I can count.

• I basically had a residency at Empire of the Incas every Saturday for about two years straight. I don't know if they still do it, but they make a green spaghetti (like a pesto) that they throw on top of the largest steak you've ever seen in your life. DE-LIGHTFUL.
• Los Rivera makes delicious Mexican delights and signature cocktails.
• Mothership Bakery doesn't have one thing on their menu I don't love.
• Muncheez, where to begin? I was almost forced to enter a treatment program in early 2025 because I bought their rice and chicken platter with the signature white sauce twice a week for about three months straight. I finally hit rock bottom when police discovered me passed out in the Bardo walkway covered in rice.
