Dean Esposito referred to himself as "Danbury Dean" while making his City Hall announcement just over a week ago (May 18). Alves has an answer for that, he told the Ethan and Lou Show, his city roots would not be outdone saying:

Danbury Joe Cavo has announced he would step aside and not seek election in the fall, Cavo also threw his support behind Republican Dean Esposito.

Both the Candlewood Lake Fireworks for the 4th of July and the Memorial Day parade have been cancelled for a second straight year thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Danbury City Councilman Roberto Alves will run for the office of Mayor of Danbury, CT in 2021. Alves made the official announcement on the Ethan and Lou morning Thursday (1/7/20).
