Imagine after a long, stressful day at work, you and your dog, Milo, kick back and fire one up before dinner.

According to marijuanadoctors.com, any individual that legally has a medical marijuana card is able to acquire cannabis for their pets. A study out of Colorado State University in 2016 found that more than 64% of dog owners felt that pot-based products helped their dog, tangling up the process with tons of red-tape. According to marijuanadoctors.com:

Medical marijuana does not make dogs high, but acts like a natural anti-inflamatory and pain reliever.

Thousands of pet owners across the country rave about how medical marijuana has successfully worked on their pets, but because of the bureaucratic red-tape, clinical studies have not been approved. Currently, there is little data to determine if the pot meds actually work and if there may be harmful side effects.
