The weather prognosticators are calling for an upcoming El Nino type winter here in Connecticut. Rob Guarino is Chief Forecaster and publisher of the official Long Range Forecasts for LiveWeatherBlogs.com and for Connecticut, he's predicting, "A mild start but a wild finish, Super El Nino could bring a blizzard."

With another nasty winter on the way, my wife has strongly suggested that 'we' [which really means 'me'] purchase a snow blower instead of paying a plow-guy $35 each time he plows our driveway.

Last winter, our plow-guy's take came to around $500. Don't get me wrong, he did a fine job, but my wife thinks that if 'we' snow-blow the driveway, [Again 'we' means only 'me'] instead of paying a plow-guy, we'll be saving a huge chunk of change.

Now this is where you guys come in! The question is "Will I save a butt load of money if I buy a snow-blower or is the plow-guy more economically feasible."
