It's nice to see a business open up shop during this pandemic, any business really, we've lost so many national retailers in the past 7 months, maybe that's why this is especially pleasant, in my opinion.

It's a family-run seasonal holiday gift shop, and it's going to be in Southbury. I came across their announcement on my Facebook feed over the weekend, and I thought you might want a burst of good news among all of the political posts on this Election Day eve.

Piper and Dune describes themselves as purveyors of "New England Lifestyle Goods", and they've set up shop and opened their doors in Southbury's Bennett Square at 134 Main Street South - Store #50-E.

They carry an abundance of items from artisans around New England, including: home goods, men's and women's clothing and accessories, gifts for babies and children, health and beauty products, leather goods, toys, puzzles, totes, cozy socks, fun candles, books, prints, and a lot more. Speaking earlier about the political season, and Election Day, Piper and Dune are running a special today and tomorrow only, offering 20% all American flag hats in store, and online.

Piper and Dune is going to be open now through December 24, 2020, 7 days a week, open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. Their website is obviously up 24/7 also, and you can check it out by clicking HERE. Good luck Piper and Dune, I hope that the holiday season and the Southbury holiday shoppers are good to you.
