Police: Connecticut Pair Accused of Disturbance on Bradley Flight, Arrested
The Connecticut State Police have just announced that they have arrested a pair of unruly female passengers from Connecticut after an incident involving them allegedly screaming and yelling profanities at a pair of 4 and a 2-year-old children, their parents, and fellow passengers. The alleged incident occurred aboard an incoming flight to Connecticut's Bradley International Airport.
According to The Connecticut State Police - Troop H, on Sunday, 9/12/21, at approximately 12:39 PM, Troopers at Bradley International Airport received a complaint of unruly passengers aboard a Jet Blue flight from Florida that was bound for Bradley. Troopers received a complaint from the Captain of the flight that some sort of fight had taken place on the plane.
Troopers were there to greet the plane at the gate, and removed the suspected parties and passengers for questioning. Through their investigation, CSP Officers were able to determine that the two female passengers were traveling together, and two children, ages 2 & 4, tapped and kicked the back of their seats.
Allegedly, the two female passengers, identified as Desiree Goffe, 23, of Kelsey Street in New Britain, and Kaylene Valentin, 21, of Crown St in Meriden, responded to the taps and kicks from the small children with inappropriate behavior, including reportedly yelling and cursing directly at the kids, their parents, and surrounding passengers.
After receiving numerous complaints from fellow passengers who were reportedly nervous and scared by their alleged behavior, Goffe and Valentin were both arrested and charged.
Goffe and Valentin both face one count of Breach of Peace, and Impairing the Morals of a minor. Both were released on $5,000 non-surety bonds and have a scheduled appearance in the Enfield Courthouse on 9/29/21.
