Connecticut Pizza Scene Makes Headlines with Surprise Pete Davidson Appearance
Pete Davidson Visits Connecticut Pizza Place
Another massive Hollywood star just swooped through Connecticut to try one of our most famous slices.

Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson hit up the Stamford location of Sally’s Apizza over the Fourth of July weekend.
Sally’s posted a photo of Pete holding a pizza box he signed with “You Guys Rock.” Classic.
At this point, there’s no turning back—this is just life now in the Nutmeg State. We will never stop talking about pizza. We’ll debate it, obsess over it, and argue about it until we’re dead… and honestly, the chatter will probably continue long after we’re worm food.
Connecticut went all in on this pizza campaign, spending millions to troll the rest of the pizza-loving world, yelling “We’re #1!” over and over again. And to their credit? They’ve won the PR war—by a lot.

Now, do I personally think Connecticut has better pizza than New York? Eh… not really, at least not across the board. But here’s the truth: None of that matters. It’s what people hear on repeat that becomes reality. In that way, Connecticut is basically like a mom who sells essential oils out of her garage—just manifesting like crazy. And honestly? It’s working.
P.S. I’m fully convinced these random celebrity pizza visits aren’t random at all. Somebody’s arranging them behind the scenes, carefully rotating the celebs between Sally’s, Pepe’s, Modern, and BAR like it’s the pizza version of jury duty.
And if they aren’t doing that? They should be. I’m happy to run point on this operation. Connecticut, call me.
