Once again this year, we are teaming up with the world's greatest listeners to provide holiday gifts for local children and teens right here in the Greater Danbury area. The Christmas Wish program is back for 2019.

We're working with Family and Children's Aid for the toy drive. According to their mission statement,

Family & Children's Aid is a community-based, non-profit organization offering innovative and responsive programs and services to heal and support children and families in crisis.

Family & Children's Aid serves children and families across more than 70 towns throughout Western and Northern Connecticut. We have Child Guidance Centers in Danbury, New Milford and Waterbury and program offices in Bridgeport, New Britain, Shelton and Torrington.  All our facilities embody Family & Children's Aid's philosophy of engaging, treating and healing children through optimism, joy and playfulness.

If you would like to help, please bring a new, unwrapped toy to our studios at 1004 Federal Road in Brookfield by December 20. We'll make sure that the gifts are in children's hands by Christmas. If you can't make it to the station, you can also drop gifts at Five Below in Danbury Square on Friday nights, where the Danbury Volunteer Fire Department will be stuffing a truck.

The most wanted items are board and card games, puzzles, arts and crafts kits and supplies, sketch books and journals, sports balls and race cars.

Thanks to our sponsors: the Flood Law Firm and Danbury Kia and Danbury Chrysler- Jeep- Dodge- Ram- Fiat. And of course, thanks to you for helping out.
