A new restaurant will occupy the charming space once known as Little Pub in Ridgefield, CT.

According to the CT Post,  Herve Aussavis is bringing "Marc's Place" to the currently unoccupied Route 7 and Branchville Road building. Herve Aussavis is also the current owner of Luc’s Cafe, a French Bistro on Big Shop Lane.

The landlord reportedly told CT Post that Marc's Place will be up and running "before summer." The landlord went on to say that Marc's Cafe will be a bistro and gastro pub. The new Ridgefield hot spot will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Sadly, I never made it to Little Pub before they closed their doors for good back in March. I drove by it many times and would always say the same thing: "that place looks awesome." This time around, I'll definitely have to get out to "Marc's Place." There is something about really small pubs that's appealing to me. The fact that it's small forces people into social situations with potentially new friends, and that's the idea behind a pub.

Plus, I'm a big J.R.R. Tolkien fan, so any place that looks like it may have a Hobbit hanging out in it, I'm a fan of. Let's GO! Don't be surprised if you see me in Marc's Place dressed in full Hobbit gear.
