Naugatuck Police Seek Alleged Concession Stand Thieves
You would think that by now, most people would realize that if there's something that has any kind of value, and it's left unattended for any amount of time, there's probably a video camera trained on it, and it's being recorded 24/7. Obviously banks and stores that contain valuable products and cash are always monitored, but even little things like cash registers in concession stands at baseball fields have to be monitored too. Luckily, the Peter J. Foley baseball field concession stand in Naugatuck is one of those places, and they captured images of a couple of alleged thieves last week.
So, if you recognize either of the two dudes in the above photo, the Naugatuck police would like to speak with you. According to a press release that they posted to their official Facebook page, the two suspects allegedly burglarized the concession stand of the Peter J. Foley Baseball field off of Scott St and Andrew Ave in town at approximately 11:30PM on Monday July 13, 2020. The two men allegedly stole merchandise and cash from the register. If you know either of these two men, or know any information about the incident, you're being asked to contact Naugatuck PD Detective Borys at 203-720-2582, or you can report on the confidential NPD Tips Line at 203-720-1010.
