NASCAR Roars Back To Lime Rock Park This Weekend
Life in Northwest Connecticut may be a bit louder and more congested this weekend as the first NASCAR racing event in 14 years returns to Lakeville.
The last time that an official NASCAR event took place at Lakeville's Lime Rock Park was in 2011, Lime Rock hosted over 20 NASCAR races between 1993 to 2011, and then they were gone.
Until this weekend, when the NASCAR LiUNA 150 Craftsman Truck Series will make it's Lime Rock debut Friday and Saturday, June 26-27. This is an exciting time of the NASCAR season, with only four races remaining until the Truck Series Playoffs start.
Can't Make it to Lime Rock? Here's How to Watch and Listen
The LiUNA 150 will be broadcast nationally at 1PM on Saturday on Fox, NASCAR Racing Network Radio, and Sirius/XM.

Since our recent heat wave broke, and with only a 30-60% chance of showers in the forecast, you might want to see and hear these wonderful machines up close. Tickets for the event are still available, and they're reasonably priced - Weekend passes are $115, while single day tickets for Friday are $40 and $90 for Saturday.
