Mohegan Sun Inducts Chris Rock Into Their Walk of Fame

When I was a kid, my parents took us out to Hollywood, and one of the highlights that I really remember was going to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the hand and footprints outside of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Did you know that Connecticut is home to an entertainment Walk of Fame? And Chris Rock has just been inducted?

Our little piece of Hollywood and the entertainment world resides outside of the entrance to the Mohegan Sun Arena at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Uncasville. It's called The Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame, and there are 37 members so far. Mohegan Sun awards a plaque in their Walk of Fame in recognition to the entertainers that have made significant contributions to Mohegan Sun's success.

And what success it is, Mohegan Sun Arena has just been ranked #11 in the world in their 2022 list of Pollstar's top 200 arenas, the highest ranking in the Northeast US besides Madison Square Garden, which came in at #2 on Pollstar's list. in 2021, Mohegan Sun Arena was ranked at the top, #1.

Rock became the 37 inductee into the Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame after his show in the Arena this past Friday night, June 3. It was Rock's 4th show overall at Mohegan Sun Arena, all of which sold-out. According to Tom Cantone, President of Sports and Entertainment for Mohegan - "In a world that needs more laughter, how timely it is to induct Chris Rock, who is now forever enshrined into the Mohegan Sun Entertainment family"
