Lou and I just found out that Connecticut's legendary concert promotor, Jim Koplik has a vote in the R&R Hall of Fame.

We had so many questions about how bands and artists were nominated for the Hall. How could it be that popular rock bands that have survived the test of time, and are still active like the Moody Blues and Yes not yet in the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame? So we asked Jimmy Koplik to come on the show to enlighten us.

Koplik began honing his concert promotor chops in the mid 60's and began building 'Jim Koplik Presents' in the early 70's in Columbus, Ohio when he promoted a show for a band named Steppenwolf. He eventually moved to Connecticut where for over the last 30 years has produced shows for a couple of bands you might recognize like the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, REO Speedwagon, Madonna, Elton John, and loads more. His FB memorabilia page is priceless. Check out the Jim Koplik Presents Archive' page by clicking right here.
