Kindergartener Shocks World With Answer to an Assignment [VIDEO]

Her name is Semra Young and she's a kindergarten student in Platte City, Missouri. According to a story in AOL News, when asked to write about "what she likes about herself," she drew a picture of herself and wrote, "I like my bodee," and then everyone jumped for joy. Check out the video which has gone viral.

According to the article, her answer has become a lesson in self esteem. Semra's mom Katie told AOL News, "We had expected her to write about her school, or cats or dogs, and then she wrote about how she loved her body." She went on to say that this meant her daughter was really confident in who she was as a person, both on the inside and the outside.

Whoaa! Let's pump the brakes a second. Am I missing something here? She's only 5! If you ask her the same question next week, she's likely to give a different answer! Before we all make such a big deal out of this, how about we check-in with a child psychologist.

Agreed, it's a surprising answer coming from a 5 year old, but would be even more surprising coming from a 15 year old girl. Semra didn't understand why everyone was making such a fuss. Why? BECAUSE SHE'S ONLY 5! Her mother told her it should teach everyone about being good role models.
