As the largest lake in Connecticut, this lake has much to offer, like beautiful scenery and great fishing spots. The Squantz Cove Public Boat Entrance provides space for boaters to launch right near Squantz Pond State Park.

A bit smaller than Candlewood Lake are Lake Lillinonah and Lake Waramaug in Connecticut's Litchfield County. Boaters and paddleboarders can launch at either one of these locations to check out two other breathtaking nature sites in Connecticut.
