I was looking through some of my old photo albums last night, and I found some great pictures that I took 36 years ago, on September 19th, 1984. I was a member of the Holy Cross High School of Waterbury band, and we got to play "Hail to the Chief" for President Ronald Reagan in front of a huge crowd, estimated to be 30,000, on the Waterbury Green. The band was set up to perform right next to the stage. I had a great vantage point and captured a few photos of the President as he spoke, a few crowd shots, pics of him flying in by helicopter, and a great photo of a couple of Secret Service Agents peering into my camera. While I was doing the research for this gallery, I came across a video of the event that was posted by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. I'll also share that in here for you. Enjoy.

Here's a video of the rally that day in Waterbury, courtesy of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. It's a different perspective from my photos.
