Ethan Carey Celebrates i95 Reunion on Florida’s West Coast

Mindy and I were soaking up the stunning beauty of Longboat Key, Florida, engaging with dear friends from I-95 and WINE-AM  during the unforgettable '80s. Our time together was filled with laughter and meaningful connections, proving that true friendships stand the test of time. This trip was a powerful reminder of the incredible bonds we've built over the years. Yes, my bathing suit was just a bit tight, and Mindy loved it! Not really...

 Laughter is the sound of the soul dancing. My workday is a celebration!  

I'm not sure where that phrase came from, but it captures what my life behind a microphone has been like! Can you believe that February 28th, 2025, will mark my 46th anniversary at The Home of Rock N' Roll, I-95?!  

Mindy and I just returned from a fantastic five-day vacation in Longboat Key, where we celebrated 40 years of friendship with wonderful friends I worked with at I-95 and WINE-AM in the 1980s. I like to think of those years as the "golden years" for both radio stations, and it was great to reminisce while soaking up the sun during our trip! A special thanks to Bruce and Sue Goldsen for their warm hospitality!

I know what you're thinking! How can you take a five-day vacation to Florida, a state that you trash almost daily on the I-95 Morning Show? Hey, I have no intention of moving to Florida, as do many of my fellow senior citizens. It was a much-needed break from Connecticut's snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. I invite you to take a look at one of my most memorable moments over the last 46 years.
