Local police are seeking some answers after something a little sketchy happened at a resident's home this week.

According to the Newtown Police Department, a resident woke up Thursday (April 23) to find some strange footage that was recorded by a Ring camera outside of their home, which is reportedly located in the area of Pine Hill Road and Jacobs Lane. Police say the incident occurred some time late in the evening on Wednesday (April 22).

In the footage below, the person, who appears to be a male wearing torn-style jeans, a light colored hoodie, sneakers and eyeglasses, is shown walking up to the front of the Newtown home with a mobile device in hand. With the device's flashlight turned on, he then looks left, right and all around as if he was looking for something in particular. He then turns around and casually walks away with the flashlight still activated.

The NDP also provided a still photo from another security camera, which shows an unidentified red vehicle.
