Federation of Butchers Seek Protection After Vegan Threats

According to the Daily Beast, the French Federation of Butchers is asking for help from the government in the wake of what they call terrorist like actions on the part of vegan protesters. Butchers in Paris said they have been threatened, had their shops windows splattered in blood, and have had anti-meat graffiti plastered on their shops.The article states that back in March one protester was given a suspended prison sentence for posting a threat on Facebook. The post allegedly said: “killing of a butcher by an Islamist militant was ‘justice.’”

Well aren't you something!? You don't eat meat, you say? GOOOOD FOR YOU! Some people like eating meat, some people enjoy it, and threatening the lives of those who sell it seems a little hypocritical, don't you think?

I'm going to look at this as a "glass half full moment." It's another day I thank God I live in America. There are vegans here in the states. We too have anti-meat type people, but they are not going to get away with threatening meat eaters here. No sir, ma'am. We get steaks delivered in the MAIL here. What the French need right now is a healthy dose of Ron Swanson.
