It's very important to not let your guard down, as we've seen recently here in Danbury with a slight spike in COVID-19 cases over the last couple of weeks. Now there seems to be a daily shutdown of school systems across the state. It's so imperative to be tested if you feel like you may have been exposed, and it's a great thing that the city of Danbury's Department of Health and Human Services, and the Community Health Center Inc. of Danbury have teamed up to offer a free COVID-19 testing event at the Danbury Fair Mall.

The event is happening today, Saturday September 12, 2020, from 10AM until 2PM in the Macy's parking lot of the Danbury Fair Mall, 7 Backus Avenue. Here's some of the other details: It is open to all, the test is free of cost, personal insurance is not required, pre-registration or appointment is not necessary, symptoms are not required for testing, and a prescription is not required for testing. If you need any additional information, you can contact the Danbury Department of Health and Human Services at 203-797-4625, or call Community Health Center, Inc. at 475-241-0740.
