Compared to most of the United States, driving through New England can be challenging. Our roads were built before the wicked smart engineers were born, our weather is unpredictable at best, and we have millions of residents cramped into postage-stamp pieces of property. My Uncle was up for a visit, and as he was taking off I noticed that he had a whole bunch of single-use plastic shopping bags in the back of his vehicle. I asked him why, and he said he brings his own when travels to Connecticut since we banned them a few years ago. I don't have a secret stash of plastic bags in my car, but I always carry these.
