It's called fast food for a reason -- because you get it fast. Just hop in the car, do the drive-thru thing, and bam -- you're ready to chow down.

Well, apparently, not only do we want our food fast, but now you don't even have to leave your house or job to get the food you crave, speedy fast.

According to, McDonald's just announced that certain Restaurants in the Fairfield County area will start with a new service called, "McDelivery". That's right, the fast food giant has partnered with UberEATS to bring those Big Macs and Chicken McNuggets right to your front door.

All you need to get started is the UberEATS mobile app or visit, and use your standard Uber account. Plus, you will also be able to track your order, so you know exactly when those famous McDonald's fries will be pulling into your driveway or office parking lot.

UberEATS Connecticut General Manager said in a statement:

We're thrilled to partner with McDonald's to give fans in Connecticut easy access to their McDonald’s favorites at the tap of a button. “People in Connecticut search for McDonald's in the UberEATS app almost daily, so we're excited to expand our reach and deliver what they've been craving.
