Turkey hunting season opened yesterday in Connecticut (4/29/20). The Ethan & Lou Morning Show wants you to be as prepared as possible and be educated on the rules. Can you kill a turkey with a rock? Are you allowed to throw arrows at turkey's? All your questions are about to be answered.

I'm not a hunter, it's not an ethics item for me because I eat turkey sandwiches like you read about. It's mostly because I know I'd accidentally shoot myself or get an arrow stuck in my head. I get excited about things and in nature. If I saw something I deemed to be interesting, it's not out of the realm of possibility to say that I'd go running to see it. Then I would trip and bang, shot fired right through my favorite sweater and vital organs. I do say to each their own and if you plan on shooting at turkeys, stay safe out there.

Want real information? OK, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is where you want to start. There are also COVID-19 considerations to be made and the CDC or Centers for Disease Control have you covered.
