Magical Disney World Favorite ‘Dole Whip’ Finds Its Way to Stew Leonard’s in Danbury
If you have ever been to Aloha Isle at Disney World, then you've probably had their famous sought-after soft serve delight known as the Dole Whip. Well, now you don't have to travel to Florida anymore to enjoy one.
Vegan Dole whip is now available in Danbury at Stew Leonard's on Federal Rd. According to patch.com, Stew's has launched the popular Disney refresher for the summer.
So just what is the Dole Whip? According to disney.wikia.com, it's a gluten-free, non-fat, non-lactose dessert served in a cup or in a glass of pineapple juice as a float. It's often topped with a maraschino cherry and a Polynesian paper umbrella. It's been served on and off at some of the snack bars in Disney for years, and due to public demand, it was made a regular menu item specifically at Aloha Isle.
Stew Leonard's, who always seems to bring the hottest trendy treats to their store, (have you tried Edible Cookie Dough or Sushi Donuts?), is at it again by introducing Vegan Dole Whip, which will be available for a limited time this summer.
If you've never tried one, now's your chance. If you were waiting for your next trip to Disney World to have one, save the airfare and just head over to Stew Leonard's on Federal Road in Danbury.
