That said… my TikTok feed absolutely exploded the other day when I was bombarded with videos of his recent performances. And, well, I’ll let the footage do most of the talking (for now). This particular clip was posted by @sweatin_to_the_oldies on TikTok:

Now, Roth was never exactly known for conventional stage moves. The man made karate kicks, high splits, and random jazz hands part of the Van Halen experience. But this? This is something else entirely. It’s hard to watch, and at the same time, impossible to look away. I don’t want to be unfair, so I’ll put it this way: it looks like a Corey Feldman production.

Look, I’ll be honest — I can’t dance to save my life. Actually, scratch that — I won’t dance because I’m afraid I’d look exactly like this. And while DLR is a rock treasure, these moves… they’re scaring the children. And possibly a few adults.

After watching this on a loop (31 times, give or take), I’ve started playing armchair neurologist. Something in my bones tells me this is less “frontman charisma” and more “unexplained medical episode.” Are you seeing it too?

We’ve got a rock icon to save before he starts moonwalking in a purple hat and telling interviewers he was the original choice for Leonardo DiCaprio’s role in Titanic (a claim Corey Feldman actually made, by the way).
