This was a bad week for those who enjoy vaping their nicotine and cannabis in the Greater Danbury area. Three smoke shop/gas stations on New Milford's Danbury Road were busted for underage tobacco sales, and employees at three Smoke Shops in Danbury have been arrested after an investigation uncovered alleged illegal marijuana sales at their establishments.

While we were all learning that the FDA has just ordered Juul to remove their E-cigarettes from the US marketplace, the New Milford police were conducting undercover compliance checks for underage tobacco usage, while officers from the Danbury PD were conducting an operation to attempt to curb the illegal sale of cannabis products.

According to the New Milford Police Department, on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, three establishments in New Milford were cited for illegally selling vaping products to underage patrons, and the employees that sold the products have been hit with $300 fines. All three establishments are located along Danbury Road in New Milford. They are: Alladin Smoke Shop at 166 Danbury Road, Royale Tobacco at 243 Danbury Road, and Valero at 315 Danbury Road.

Yesterday, Danbury Police busted three vape and smoke shops located around the city for allegedly selling marijuana products. According to the newstimes, Danbury PD executed warrants after received numerous complaints of illegal activity at Cloud House Tobacco and Vape at 60 Newtown Road, Cloud House II at 101 Mill Plain Road, and Star Rose Vape & Smoke at 2-4 Mill Ridge Road. Following their investigation, 4 people have been arrested, and several pounds of various cannabis products were seized.
