Cuddle With Capybaras At This Hidden Gem In Goshen
I know you've been worrying that your Capybara snuggle dreams would never come true after the Sea Quest closed at the Trumbull Mall, but cheer up, once again there is a place in Connecticut where you can get up close to a Capybara.

I was knocked out the first time that I drove by Action Wildlife on Rt. 4 in Goshen. It's like the first time you see Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods rising up from the tree line in Southeast CT. A zoo/animal preserve in a quiet part of Litchfield County just doesn't seem right, but it is.
Capybara are the largest rodents in the world, similar to their cousins the Guinea pig, Nutria, and Chinchilla, but way bigger. Capybara can grow to be just about 5 feet long, and 200 pounds, they're native to South America, and despite their size they are docile. Capybara are herbivores, love being in water, and usually allow humans to pet and hand feed them.
Sound fun? Head to Goshen, or better yet, go online and see if you can book a Capybara encounter before you head out.
