Connecticut Postal Worker Caught Driving Drunk While Delivering, Police Say

No wonder the postal truck is a blur. Looks like the mailman might have had his beer goggles on while delivering the mail.

In a story from fox61.com, a postal worker out of Vernon Connecticut is in a bit of a pickle. Oh wait, he was possibly pickled.

According to Vernon police, the postal worker is being accused of delivering mail while drunk. The report from fox61.com says that someone on the postal workers route called in a complaint to the police. Vernon police say they found empty bottles of alcohol in Shawn DuPerry's postal truck. A filed sobriety test was given at the scene which DuPerry reportedly failed and he was charged with a DUI.

Dude, I know that postal workers take some guff, but come on, it's gotta be a pretty cake job. You just screwed the pooch.
