CT Lady Competes With 20 Others for the Love of the Golden Bachelor
"This is the most dramatic season yet!"
Those are the words ABC feeds us every time they debut a new season of the Bachelor or any of it's spin-off series. While the "most dramatic" has become sort of cliche with these shows, they somehow manage to deliver on that promise.
So, what can we expect from the older version of the show, "The Golden Bachelor?" We can make assumptions that the drama will be a bit more mature but we can't know for sure, unless we watch. The debut episode aired on Thursday (09/28/23) and delivered with solid ratings. According to Variety, it was the best Bachelor franchise debut since 2021 with over 4 million viewers.
That means Peggy, the dental hygienist from East Haven, CT is an instant celebrity. This is Peggy's Bio from Entertainment Weekly:
Hometown: East Haven, CT
Occupation: Dental hygienist
Bio fun fact: "Peggy is a go-karting enthusiast." Well, if the paintball group date doesn't work out, producers have another option.
Peggy is one of 22 women battling for the affection for the Golden Bachelor, 72 year old Gerry Turner a widower from Iowa. All the women on the show range in age from 60 to 75 years of age. Peggy's first rose ceremony was a success, as she was asked to continue her journey with Turner.
To follow Peggy's journey tune in to the Golden Bachelor Thursday nights at 8 pm on ABC.
P.S. The reality TV world is ultra competitive these days, you really need to bring the noise to stay relevant. How can you stay top-of-mind with shows like HBO Max's "Naked Attraction" out there? In case you don't know that is a dating show where the contestants see each other completely naked the first time they meet.
We talked about this on the Monday (10/02/23) edition of the I-95 Morning Show, listen below.
