Criminal Charges Filed After a String of Fights at Danbury High
Fights broke out over the weekend at Danbury High between different groups of students.
According to the NewsTimes, several different fights developed this past weekend at Danbury High that showed teens throwing punches and pulling other students to the ground.
Apparently the altercations were captured on video and obtained by Hearst Connecticut and shared through Snapchat. The video's caption was, "We're all in this together." On Sunday, an official statement was released by school officials saying:
All of the students involved in recent disruptive behaviors have been suspended from Danbury High School and many have faced criminal charges.
Physical altercations, bullying, intimidating behavior, and violent actions are banned at all Danbury schools. So far there have been no details regarding what motivated the student brawls.
