"I've never seen anything like it in all my years of "Camping for Cans!" A live jibber-jabbering turkey, a 1936 Studebaker hot rod  loaded with food donations, and a 'Dancing Man' hangin' out on the side of Danbury Newtown road "Dancing for Cans!"

As Lou and I arrived at the site of "I-95's 8th Annual "Camping for Cans Food Drive" on Saturday morning, we were met by a rather chunky live turkey named Willy who just wouldn't shut his beak! Willy becomes someone's Thanksgiving dinner unless we meet our $10,000 goal by Sunday at 4pm.

"The Dancing Man' is from Southbury and he told me that 'free form' dancing at  clubs all over the area is how he stays fit. and how's he dropped 65 lbs over the last year. He then placed his beret carefully on his head and began doing what he does best on the side of the road. "Free form baby, music or no music, with weights in my hands and a song in my head, that's all I need."

When our amazing I-95 listeners came by to drop of food and cash donations between 8 and 11am on Saturday, they were treated to a show! Lou and I wrap up our Camping for Cans Food Drive to benefit Hillside Food Outreach today(Sunday) from 1 to 4pm. The question remains, "Will Willy return to his home at Halas Farm Market or will he be the main course at a family's Thanksgiving celebration?" You, my generous friends will determine Willy's fate. Tune in at 3:45 this afternoon when Lou and I pronounce the verdict. "FREE WILLY!" Drop off your donation today up until 4pm in the Berkshire Shopping Center. Our goal; $10,000!
