I'm 100% Italian so you better believe cannolis are pretty much in my blood.

Heading into a local bakery and seeing and smelling all of the delicious Italian pastries has my mouth watering just thinking about it. The tiramisu, cannolis, sfogliatella, struffoli, gelato, you name it. I'm pretty biased, but it's definitely some of the best food out there.

I was scrolling through Instagram when I learned that a local family-owned bakery in Connecticut hosts cannoli making classes where you make them from scratch. When I saw the post, I instantly sent it around to my friends and said we all need to attend this. ASAP.

The bakery is called Petonito's Pastry and Cupcake Shoppe and it's located at 190 Main Street in East Haven. The shop was founded in in 1954 and has stayed around the same family / families for its entire time. You can read all about their history on their website.

The post that stopped me in my tracks is this one right here.

So what you're telling me is that the owners will walk us through the entirety of making a cannoli from scratch, show you how to fold the shell, fry it, add the filling, etc.? Sign me up. The video also says that you get to have cannoli shots and play trivia while your shells are frying.

After you make the cannolis, you're given the recipe so that you can make them from scratch whenever you want . You're also able to take home 6 fun size cannolis and 6 mini cannolis. You complete the class with an official "Cannoli Class Completition" certificate.

Uhmmm.. this sounds like the absolute best thing ever. BRB while I go become a pro at making cannolis from scratch.
