A Meteor Shower Will Shine Over Connecticut Skies This Week
I always talk about it, but man oh man do I love the sky! It seems there have been a lot of celestial events happening over our skies recently and I'm definitely not complaining.

Whether we have full moons, eclipses, meteor showers, northern lights appearances, rare occurrences, it's all so exciting. It's also fascinating that we can all see the same thing by just looking up. I came across another event that will be taking place in the sky this week.
A Meteor Shower Will Shine Over Connecticut on June 7
It looks like we will have a viewing of a peak meteor shower that will be taking place during the early hours of June 7. It is the Arietid Meteor Shower and it's known to be one of the strongest daylight meteor showers of the entire year. It looks like the best time to be able to view it will be just before sunrise in the dark hours of dawn.

The significance of this meteor shower is that it usually happens in the daylight, but with the peak of it being on June 7, you should be able to see it at the last dark hour before dawn. So, you want to catch this right before sunrise, according to Earth Sky.
June 7 is this Saturday, and if you're looking for a reason to wake up early to start your day, I think this is a good one. Since it's such an active meteor shower and it'll be at its peak, I think we will be able to see some really cool stuff. The only thing we do need to take into account is the weather. I guess we will have to wait and see.
