Now that the new Governor Mario Cuomo Bridge is partially open to traffic, and the entire bridge should be fully open some time within the next year, it's time to take a look back at this massive construction project from day one until now.

The crazy part is that we'll do it all in just about two minutes. Wouldn't it be great if the construction on the bridge moved as quickly as it does in the New York Thruway Authority's video?

Patch.com says it's a great chance to see just how this transformation over the Hudson River has taken shape over the past four years. You also get a chance to see the "I Love NY" super-crane, the largest floating crane in the world.

I love how it really gives you an idea as to the scope of this major project. You probably drove over the Tapan Zee Bridge many times during the construction, but you've never seen it like this (video above).
