One of the country's most popular television shows is Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network.

It's a highly entertaining show in which Fieri travels all over the country seeking out the very best in local, comfort foods. These restaurants are typically favorites in their respective communities and aren't afraid to get a little greasy, if you will.

Two things tend to happen to me when I watch the Food Network, especially Guy Fieri's show; I become extremely hungry for whatever magnificent, juicy creation is being featured, and I yell, "Road Trip!" at my wife. Since I have a job, and really try to watch what I eat, my wife usually shatters my dreams of delectable goodness instantaneously. This summer, however, I am absolutely determined to, at the very least, make my way to each of the joints right here in our beloved (most of the time) State of Connecticut that have been graced by Guy Fieri's frosted tips and man bracelets.

If you care to join me on my tasty, arterie-abusing voyage, I've laid out each location on the interactive map shown above. Here's where we're headed:

CT Restaurants Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives

Corey's Catsup and Mustard - Manchester, CT (CLOSED)

Unfortunately, after many years of being a staple in the community, Corey's closed up for good in the summer of 2018. In their heyday, the featured menu items were Auntie Laurie's Burger, the 7-Burger and their sweet potato fries.

Wilson's Holy Smoke BBQ - Fairfield, CT (CLOSED)

Unfortunately, Wilson's Holy Smoke has since shut its doors, but every now and then, good ole Ed will pop back up for special orders via his Facebook page.
