$8.5 Million of Psilocybin Mushroom Seized During Burlington Bust

A 21 year old man from Connecticut is facing serious charges after a multi-agency investigation led to the discovery of an alleged 'Magic Mushroom' grow factory, and $8.5 million dollars worth of product, in his residence.

According to the Connecticut State Police, at 9AM yesterday morning(Thursday, November 2, 2023), members of the Hartford DEA task force and detectives from the Statewide Narcotics North Central office arrested 21 year old Weston Soule, of Lyon Road in Burlington, after receiving a tip that he had been operating a hidden 'magic mushroom' growing operation inside the residence. During the investigation, an incredible amount of psilocybin mushrooms, worth an estimated $8,500,000 was discovered.

Soule was taken into custody and transported to Troop L in Litchfield, where he has been charged with Possession with Intent to Sell/Distribute Narcotics, Operation of a Drug Factory, and held on $250,000 cash/surety bond. Have a look at what was allegedly discovered at the scene -
