5 Places in Connecticut That Should Have a Marijuana Dispensary
Yeah, OK, Donald Trump won the White House. The bigger news story to a lot of very mellow people here in Connecticut is that our northern neighbors, Massachusetts and Maine, have legalized recreational marijuana.
Maybe it's only a matter of time before the legalization movement makes it's way to Hartford and Dannel. We'll see. In the meantime, I started imagining the future weed stores of Connecticut, and where I would like to see them appear. Here's what I came up with:
- 1
Meriden - Castle Craig
Located in Hubbard Park in Meriden. The views of Long Island Sound, the Berkshires in Mass, and the Hartford skyline would be greatly enhanced by some sticky Sativa. A great place to take in the majesty of the Connecticut River, and to pick up some fine smoke.
- 2
Danbury - Elan's parking lot
Have you been jonesin' for a trip to Amsterdam? Wouldn't it be so much better if there were a little taste of that amazing capital city of the Netherlands right here on Federal Road? Put a dispensary in the Elan's parking lot, and you'll be speaking like a Dutchman in no time.
- 3
Stamford/Gold Coast
This is where the cash is in Connecticut. Guaranteed they'll only stock the finest of strains here. No stems, no seeds that you don't need, Connecticut's gold coast will have some bad ass weed
- 4
Milford - Post Road
When you have a case of the legal munchies, you need a diverse selection of restaurants. The Post Road in Milford delivers. Mexican to the right, Thai to the left, and retail shops all around. Fire up a big spliff and goon out at the Milford Amusement Center. Oh, wait, damn. I did that in 1988 -- nevermind!
- 5
Mystic/Ledyard/Uncasville
This may be the best area in CT. Put in a dispensary, and then you have the world at your fingertips in stoned entertainment. Drop some green, while you smoke some green at Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods. Shave off some sinsemilla and watch penguins and Beluga whales frolic at Mystic Aquarium. Grab that vape pen and try to find Julia Roberts at Mystic Pizza. The possibilities are endless, there MUST be a dispensary in Southeast CT.
