Watch High-Octane, Stomach-Dropping Extreme Ice Racing at the Danbury Ice Arena

How do you get around the ice on a motorcycle with no brakes, more than 2,000 metal studs on its tires, and the power to go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds?

On pure adrenaline, that's how.

Xtreme International Ice Racing is bringing Speedway motorcycle and quad drivers from the United States and the United Kingdom to the Danbury Ice Arena at 7 p.m. Jan. 7 and 8 to see who are the fastest daredevils of them all.

You'll get to see 20-25 races, first showcasing four-lap contests for riders to try to earn a spot in the main event. That final, main event will pit six riders against each other for six heart-pounding laps.
