Danbury Welcomes Wonder, a New Dining Destination on Federal Road
According to a release from the City of Danbury, there's a new way to grab a meal in town, and it sounds like it could make deciding what to eat a whole lot easier.

Wonder has officially opened its new location on Federal Road, giving Danbury-area food lovers access to meals from more than a dozen different restaurant brands—all in one order. Instead of everyone in the family settling on the same place, Wonder lets you mix and match dishes from multiple menus at the same time.

That's really the big selling point. If you're craving a burger, someone else wants tacos, another person is in the mood for barbecue, and someone insists on pasta, you don't have to make everyone compromise. You can order it all together through one checkout.

Orders can be placed using the self-service kiosks inside the Federal Road location or through the Wonder app, making it easy to grab takeout or have your food delivered.

The company says its mission is to make high-quality meals more convenient and accessible by bringing a variety of chef-inspired restaurant concepts together under one roof. Wonder also says it's committed to responsible food sourcing by using seasonal ingredients whenever possible, partnering with farms that use sustainable practices, and purchasing meat raised without added antibiotics or hormones whenever available.

The company is also putting an emphasis on cutting down food waste. Its goals include donating excess food to help people facing food insecurity, exploring additional ways to repurpose unused food, and ultimately working toward sending zero food waste to landfills.

If you've been looking for something different in the local dining scene, Wonder's arrival gives Danbury another option that offers plenty of variety without making you stop at multiple restaurants.
