Towards the end of the interview we invited Vic to join us in studio the next time he is in town and that is when things really heated up. Vic asked where the studio is and we told him we're in Brookfield, near Danbury. Then I purposely wound him up, knowing that he hates driving in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Lou: We're not far from Poughkeepsie which I know you love driving there.

Vic: "Oh my God, Poughkeepsie don't get me started. I left after my show Saturday night, I had a room and I said F-- that, I went home after the show Saturday night."

Lou: Route 9 is a disaster.

Vic: "I hate driving, I hate people, I hate tailgaters, I hate everybody except you guys and my fans. Route 9 forget it, it's like the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn, it's horrible and the Merritt! I figured, you know let me tale the Merritt (Parkway) you know because 95 is always a cluster-f---. I took the Merritt, I wanted to pull the hair plugs that I put in my hair ten years ago, I wanted to pull them. It's two lanes and once one lane is done, that it, you're done. Those Dunkin' Donuts at the rest areas, the f---- parking lot is like the size of my bedroom. Please don't get me started, it's too early. I thought we were supposed to leave on a high note."

Lou: Vic Dibitetto coming to the Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, October 18th. Vic thanks so much man.

Vic: "Thank you again and I can't wait to go to Ridgefield. I love that little town, that one road where you see the Stanley Cup in the middle of the road. You know what I'm talking about, whatever the f-- that thing is, I don't know. Billy Crystal said call the Vatican, something is missing!"

Ridgefield Playhouse Exec Shares Revealing Tales About Richards and More

The Ridgefield Playhouse and I-95 have had a longstanding and fruitful business relationship. The Playhouse, it's leadership and staff have always been welcoming to us and we like to think we've been good to them as well.

I've been doing the I-95 Morning Show for 15 years and in that time I've had so many wonderful memories in that building. We performed our Ethan and Lou 10 year Anniversary concert there, I've met countless celebrities at the Playhouse and have attended many of their shows.

Many of the top flight guests we've booked on the I-95 Morning Show have been courtesy of our association with the Playhouse. But it wasn't just the rock stars that got invited to our studio, the people behind the curtain have always been regular guests on our shows.

Jared Shahid is the new Managing Director at the Ridgefield Playhouse but not a new face to us. Ethan and I have hung with him backstage, we've had him in the studio and he and I even worked on a TV project together.

Jared is one of the best storytellers I know so we were delighted to invite him back on the show. Recently, Shahid joined us on the the I-95 Morning Show with Ethan, Lou & Dave. Whenever he comes in, he brings tickets and stories for our audience. These are some of the amazing behind the scenes tales he shared with us on Thursday (5/25/23).
