Johnny sent the following videos to the Ethan, Lou and Large Dave Morning Show on I95. Johnny knows we covered the movements of the Danbury moose recently, and asked the question: "Can we get back to the bears?" NOTE - 2 Videos in Instagram post below.

I sent Johnny a reply, "is this real, where was this, what is going on?" Johnny told me this happened in his backyard in Brookfield. He lives on Route 25 by Happy Landings and told me: "it happened on Friday, my neighbors took the video, I was at work, it was literally 15 yards off my back deck."

I asked Johnny what he would have done to scare them off if he were home? He replied: "I would’ve put on my finest speedo lathered up in honey and went and wrassled with those cubs." That is a very funny, and very Johnny Love answer right there. It's an image I'd rather not have swimming in my head, but the damage is done. BUT WAIT! They came back when Johnny was home, to climb some trees. NOTE - 2 Videos in Instagram post below.

This comes on the heels of Moose Situation 2022 where a loose moose was appearing all over the Greater Danbury area. I think the animals are trying to tell us something, what that is, I don't know.

P.S. I also wanted to know Johnny's Top 3 Favorite Bears of all time, this was his list:

  • Polar
  • Yogi
  • Walter Payton

You can hear more about this and other animal encounters by checking out the Ethan, Lou & Large Dave Podcast on Apple and Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's the same show we do on the radio but with limited commercials and no music. Or, listen live by streaming the show on the I-95 Rock Mobile app, or tune into I-95 (95.1FM).

The Ethan and Lou 15 Year Anniversary Party Got Ultra Wild

It was the party to end all parties, the Ethan and Lou 15 Year Anniversary party at the Golden Leaf in Brookfield, CT. The idea was simple, go somewhere with no frills, gather with friends of the show, and look back at a decade and a half of the Ethan and Lou Morning Show. A lot of people showed up and we had a wonderful time, maybe too much fun.

Danbury Resident Has Astonishing Close Encounter With Famous Moose

His name is Daryl Pitman, and he's a Danbury resident who recently had a super-close encounter with a moose that has become famous in the Greater-Danbury area. In the past few days this moose has been seen in multiple Danbury locations, it's been seen in Newtown, New Fairfield, Woodbury and even Pawling, NY to name a few.

I saw Daryl's pictures in a different moose related thread and reached out to him. I asked him to tell me more. I wanted to know if these photos were real? Did he take the pictures? Was this in Danbury? When was this? How did he feel. An excited Daryl got back to me with the following responses.
