Waterbury’s Greek Festival Gyro Drought is Over
The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Chase Parkway in Waterbury typically puts on their annual Greek Festival on Mother's Day weekend. Unfortunately, not this year's Mother's Day weekend though. I was bummed out, I sorely miss my Tzatziki, so I went onto Facebook to moan about my Gyro and Loukoumades jones. I quickly got some great news from my friends Michele Morcey Henderlite and Timothy Cipriano - On Saturday May 23, Holy Trinity is putting on a Gyro to-go fundraiser.
Here's How to Get Your Gyro on May 23
The Gyros for Heroes Fundraiser is happening from 11AM to 8PM on Saturday May 23 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, which is located at 937 Chase Parkway in Waterbury. You can find out more info by clicking HERE
