Warm and Fuzzy, Candlelit Concerts Come to Connecticut City

I was scrolling through my Tik Tok feed recently and found a video that stopped me in my tracks. It was video of a woman playing the violin while basking in the warm glow of candles and the text read:

"Candlelight Concerts Connecticut."

Not only was I impressed with the idea but the clip has to go down as one of the best bits of marketing I've seen in a long time. I had to know more so I followed the links and found that these concerts are being put together by Fever promotions in Hartford's Bond Ballroom.

The general description reads:

"Enjoy a host of concerts illuminated by candlelight and performed by live musicians in some of the most iconic venues in Connecticut."

There are several upcoming events listed for these concerts at the Bond Ballroom that include:

Candlelight: Mozart's Requiem and More - September 15

Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics - October 27

Candlelight: A Tribute to Queen & More - November 10

Candlelight: A Tribute to Taylor Swift - November 17

The ticket prices vary by section but appear to be between $40-60 which is a steal today for a live show. The various performers are listed on their website. The photos used above are not from Fever's Candlelight music series.

I've never been to one of these so I'm not personally recommending it, I'd need to see for myself but it seems interesting. Instead I'll share a few Tik Toks I saw from customers.

To come up with the 5 Most Dangerous animals in Connecticut I consulted with an expert. Her name is Jen "The Zookeeper" Kotkin and she immediately took issue with the phrasing "the most dangerous." I mean she knew what I was angling for but made clear to me that these animals are only dangerous when approached, protecting their cubs and food, etc. She told me: "wild animals aren’t out there looking to start fights, and take the flight versus fight route whenever possible."
