The Summer of 2025 was a long, hot one for us here in Connecticut, and lots of us spent the season riding the world-class rollercoasters at Six Flags New England in Agawam. Six Flags just posted their season wrap up numbers for 2025 on their social media listing the Top 3 rides for the year based on 15,017,976 overall riders. Here are the Top 3.

Coming in at number three and celebrating a decade since its transformation from a wooden to a steel track beast is the Wicked Cyclone. In 2025 915,296 brave souls dared to strap in and endure the beating that this legendary coaster doles out. Of note: This was the 10th anniversary of the Wicked Cyclone. The Riverside Cyclone ran from 1983 until it's closure in 2014. After a one-year conversion from wooden to steel track, Wicked Cyclone debuted in May 2015. I'll never forget the first time I saw that incredible drop in the mid-80's, it was terrifying compared to the Mad mouse at Quassy.

It's another Superhero - Superman The Ride broke a million riders for the year - 1,340,418 to be exact. What's in store for the Summer of 2026 at Six Flags New England? Maybe Top Thrill 2? The world's tallest and fastest triple-launch strata coaster? Stay tuned.
