After referencing several sources, and researching travel data for 2024, one New York State destination kept popping up. Time and time again the recommendation as the best place to visit in New York State is the Adirondacks, specifically Lake Placid.

US News & World Report have the Adirondacks at #14 ahead of destinations such as Cape Cod, Aspen, Cape may New Jersey and Boston. AAA has Lake Placid at #48 in the entire Country.
