The Florida Man is an idea more than an actual man. The idea is that men from Florida commit crimes, in many cases, odd crimes. That is the basics of the well-documented Florida Man Phenomena.

An old challenge is resurfacing with a Florida spin and making the rounds on social media. The game is simple, you type Florida man and your birthday into Google and share the first result to pop up on social media. Since I have time I'll share my whole first page, my birthday is a very popular day from crime in the Sunshine State.

I'm not too happy with the first one because it resulted in a fatality, the headline reads: "Cops: Fla. Man hugs, fatally stabs roommate who was saying goodbye."

Here are some of the other delightful things that happened in Florida on my birthday:

That one is my personal favorite and really puts a nice bow on my long-winded point, which is Florida is a lawless swamp. But hey, I hear the weather is great, definitely give up all your friends, family and uproot your life so you don't have to shovel snow anymore.

Florida, you say!?

Try the "Florida Man Challenge" for yourself and share the results with us, I'm certain this game will make you feel better about your life. When you are done you can read the article I wrote about Tom Brady's stupid faces.

I wrote the (below) article right after the Bucs beat the Washington Football team in the playoffs and before they beat the Saints in the Divisional Round the next week. To say that my predictions were off would be an understatement and I've been trying to hide from that article since I wrote it.

If you are not familiar with what happened the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by Tom Brady became the first team in NFL history to win a Super Bowl in their home stadium. Man I screwed that one up. I should have titled it, "Florida Man Steams Towards Super Bowl" but I went a different way.

Esposito VS. Alves: A Complete Breakdown of Danbury’s 2021 Mayoral Race

Voting in a local election is one the best ways to express your beliefs and immediately impact the world around you but how can you really know a candidate from a few quotes in the local newspaper? You can't.

The paper cannot give you a sense for the candidates personality nor can they show you how the person performs under pressure. A radio interview is a much more intimate thing and you can learn who your local candidates are on a deeper level.

In the weeks leading up to the 2021 Danbury Mayoral Election, we believe we have provided Hat City voters with an unbiased view of their options. Each Friday we brought Roberto Alves and Dean Esposito on the Ethan and Lou Show and asked them both the same questions.

Because the person who goes last, has the ability/advantage of answering to the first candidate, we would alternate the order every few weeks. We did not endorse either candidate, we simply gave an even portrait of the two men, their politics and their vision for Danbury.

This is a look back at the I-95 Election coverage for you to review the day before Election. Below you will be given an excerpt from each article we did with the candidates and a link that can redirect you to the full article. Most of the articles include full interviews we conducted with your candidates, Vote tomorrow, it matters.
