The Best Places to Shop on Black Friday 2024 in Connecticut

Black Friday 2024 is just over a week away, and the deals are slowly rolling out in anticipation of the busiest retail shopping day of the holiday season. I've done some research and have found the best places for you to shop Black Friday deals, both in-person and online.

Do you still feel the need to go to a mall? The four best malls in Connecticut, in no particular order, are Westfarms in Farmington, Danbury Fair Mall, Sono Collection in Norwalk, and the Post Mall in Milford. Trumbull and Buckland Hills Malls are 5&6, but the Crystal Mall in Waterford, Brass Mill in Waterbury, the Meriden Mall, and Stamford Town Center will all disappoint.

The highest concentration of unique retailers in Connecticut, which is great for holiday shopping, are the Post Road/Rt. 1 in Norwalk/Westport and Milford/Orange, Buckland Hills area of Manchester and South Windsor, and West Hartford/Farmington.

Who has the best deals for Black Friday 2024? According to WalletHub.com, JC Penney will offer the deepest discounts next week, with an average discount of 76.2%. Macy's still has multiple locations across Connecticut, and they will offer an average discount of 57.1% on Black Friday. Kohl's will offer an average 43.55% discount, and Walmart at 37.75%.

Shopping online? You should check out Belk.com, they're a regional US department store in 16 states, and they're offering discounts up to 72.7% on Black Friday. Amazon will offer an average 32.05% discount, while Newegg and Dell both offer 20% discounts.

Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, Pepe's Pizza, and Ted's gift cards for those delicious, steamed cheeseburgers are also high on my wish list.
