I love diners. They are the perfect place to go when you're feeling any type of food and you can bring your whole family with you. You'll never have to sit there and figure out if there's something specific to eat because you always have an array of options.

Everyone usually has a favorite diner and mine is Blue Colony in Newtown. I used to go there all of the time when I was in high school and it was just always our go-to diner. Have you ever thought about what the best diner in the state is to bring your family? Family Minded came out with a list of the best family-friendly diners around the entire country.

What is Connecticut's best family-friendly diner?

Elm Street Diner in Stamford took the crown. If you've never been to Elm Street Diner, they have gone viral multiple times for their extremely unique and funky menu items. Their main menu features everything you can think of and then they also have a section of their menu dedicated to the over-the-top items you see all over the internet. They also have fun drinks and shakes you can get as well.

They really do have an array of everything you can think of and their food items are so excited that it makes for a great place for the family. If your kids saw all of the food, would they come home with a sugar rush? Absolutely. But it may be worth the trip.

I additionally wrote about Elm Street Diner not too long ago when they took the crown for Best Classic Diner. The buzz continues around this Stamford diner and understandably so.
